COMPOSITION

MECHANISM OF ACTION

• Reduces scar relief due to the pressure of the tape on the scar tissue.
• Prevents scar widening by reducing skin tension.
• It maintains an excellent level of moisture in the skin, providing hydration to the scar, which facilitates the orderly placement of collagen fibers, in addition to stabilizing mast cells, reducing itching.
• The occlusion of the tape on the skin causes an increase in the temperature of the scar, leading to an increase in enzymes such as collagenase. It increases collagenase, normalizing the collagen level of abnormal scars through the modulation of beta FGF.
• The pressure of the tape on the skin improves the reddish appearance of the scar and small vessels within the scar, causing ischemia and reducing the number of fibroblasts and collagen formation. The compression exerted on the scar causes a decrease in alpha macroglobulin, which inhibits collagenase, which normalizes the collagen level of abnormal scars by modulating beta FGF.
• Avoiding direct friction on the scar prevents the formation of keloids or hypertrophic scars.
• Rosehip oil is rich in essential fatty acids that are important for maintaining skin integrity and regeneration. Therefore, it is highly recommended for reducing scars.
• Rosehip oil is also rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin C and transretinoic acid.

HOW TO USE

• Start using NULLSCAR 20 to 30 days after surgery. The scar should be free of external stitches, free of crusts and dry.
• After washing your hands, gently clean the scar area and dry it before applying NULLSCAR ®.
• The tape should be applied to clean skin without creams.
• Adaptation phase 4h and gradually increase
• Use it for at least 8 hours, preferably as many hours as possible. It can remain on for up to 12 hours. Be careful to clean the product to avoid dermatitis.
• Try to place it by slightly bending your body or bringing the edges of the scar closer together in order to reduce tension on the skin.
• The tape should be cleaned under running water.
• Allow to air dry or use lint-free fabrics.
• When not in use, store it on the base with the adhesive facing down.

CONTRAINDICATION

• Hypersensitivity to components
• Do not use the tape on open and exuding scars.
• Do not use on irritated skin.
• Do not apply creams before applying the tape to the skin.

PRECAUTION

In case of maceration or rash, remove the tape and let the skin recover until the symptom disappears. Progress the use and gradually increase the time of use. If irritation, redness or itching persists, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
